Description
The Occupational Therapy Team is embarking on an exciting transformation and is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support with developing the service. Job Role:
- The Occupational Therapy Assistant will be responsible for taking on a key role, working as an assistant to our in house therapists as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- The successful candidate will also be providing specific & general therapeutic care for patients with long-term neurological conditions.
- Supporting and assisting registered occupational therapists both clinically and administratively in the provision of a high-quality clinical service.
- Observing and documenting a patient’s participation, reactions, and progress from therapy session.
- Escorting and planning patients’ for out -patient appointments and ability to carry out basic nursing care (e.g. emptying urinary bag, feeding) during appointments.
