Description

We are seeking an experienced Highly Specialist CAMHS Clinical/Counselling Psychologist who is enthusiastic and passionate about working with a range of clients to work in our friendly service.

Responsibilities:

  • To operate, at all times, with high standards of professionalism and exemplary personal conduct.
  • To effectively manage risks within area of responsibility, with particular reference to Health & Safety legislation, ensuring risk profiles are complete for area of responsibility.
  • To participate in risk management meetings/team meetings as required.
  • To participate in the process of recruitment of staff.
  • To deliver clinical supervision responsibilities to other staff members as required.
  • To identify training and development plans of the teams to ensure that the skill set of the MDT is an evolving process so it can meet the needs of the children and young people.
  • To be a strong advocate and champion for young people and families accessing the service.
  • To ensure statutory/mandatory duties and legal requirements are upheld within area of responsibility.
  • To routinely measure standards through a range of audit activity.
  • To identity research projects and promote team participation in such research and development in order to facilitate best practice.
  • Be accountable for maintaining own professional requirements to meet the registration specific standards and adhere to the code of conduct. This includes the completion of professional development CPD to maintain and advance knowledge in the specialist profession, legislation, national and local policies.
