Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Physiotherapy Assistant to join our caring and progressive team. Job Role:
- The Physiotherapy Assistant will be responsible to take on a generic role and work as an assistant to therapists as part of the multi-disciplinary team, with supervision from qualified therapist(s).
- To provide general/ specific therapeutic care as detailed therapist for patients with long-term neurological conditions and proficient and competent to work across professional disciplines/ boundaries within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Assisting the therapists with assessment and treatment of patients and, where appropriate, with patients’ continued management including implementation, supervision and progression of therapy interventions whilst under distant supervision from the therapist. Undertaking delegated therapy tasks, which contribute to the safe and smooth running of the service (e.g. checking equipment and organising resources).
