Description

We are currently looking for a Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics to join our hospital. The current team structure is split with specialist Theatre Scrub Practitioners and Anaesthetics & Recovery Practitioners. We are supported by a team of Theatre Porters. We have three state of the art Theatres, two of which are equipped with laminar airflow technology which gives extra prevention against the risk of airborne contamination and surgical site infections. The post holder will be working as part of the Operating Department team, within the anaesthetic and recovery teams, with the aim of providing the highest standard of patient care by ensuring a safe, caring and efficient service within the department. You will assist in the preparation of anaesthetic and theatre equipment required for surgical procedures, using relevant guidelines and instructions. You will ensure the safe custody and administration of drugs in accordance with established hospital policies and law. Skills & Experience • Previous Theatre experience in anaesthetics and recovery
