Description

Our private sector client, renowned for its outstanding healthcare delivery in Kent, is seeking an experienced registered practitioner who is passionate about delivering healthcare at its very best to join its Theatre’s team as a Theatre Practitioner.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient care requirements independently and act as a resource for other staff. Implement patient care and evaluate outcomes
  • Undertake all safety checks to a high standard, documenting appropriately
  • May be expected to work as an anaesthetic, scrub or recovery practitioner, or flexibly across all disciplines to suit the need of the department
  • Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out
  • Complete all documentation relating to patient care and ensure this is within the boundaries of the national and hospital guidelines for good record keeping
  • Participate in performance reviews.
  • Implement local and statutory Health and Safety Policies.
  • Participate in the training and assessment of other staff and students.
  • Assist with changes in the daily running of the department and communicate effectively with members.
  • Provide a comprehensive hand-over at change of shift to colleagues
  • Recognise and deal with interpersonal issues in an effective and appropriate way.
