We have got an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Support Worker to work with our talented and growing team, in state-of-the-art environment, supporting consultants at the top of their field. 

Responsibilities:

• Working as the lead member of the recovery team you will ensure a high standard of clinical care and safety for patients within the theatre unit.
• To provide clinical leadership to junior staff, deputising for the deputy theatre manager when necessary.
• Communicating effectively with other departments e.g. Sterile Services, Wards, and Imaging department to ensure efficient patient care.
• Preparing operating and anaesthetic rooms for surgery as required. To include equipment and supplies required for specific procedures, ensuring appropriate use of resources and minimal waste.
• Ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out.
• Assessing patient care requirements, implementing care and evaluating outcomes.
