The post holder will:

• Provide high standards of radiographic imaging in all aspects of general radiography including theatre work, Fluoroscopy and
  assist when required in CT and MRI.
• Support junior members of the team including RDA and Administration staff with all aspects of their roles and training needs
• Actively support all the departments’ services and objectives, including the delivery of in-service training, audits and
• Participating in peer review.

Key Result Areas

• To provide high quality radiographic images in the general area, theatre, and Fluoroscopy room.
• Assist with CT and MRI lists where required
• To manage the day’s workload and assist other staff when the need arises, including administration staff to ensure smooth running of the department
• Participate in the Hospitals staff performance process
• Maintain own CPD
• Promotes reflective practice and encourages others
• Participate in Audit
• Maintain the safety of all equipment and the working environment
• Participation in the On-Call rota
• Flexible on working patterns to include weekends

Skills and Experience

• BSc (Hons) Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registered
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of own skill level and ask for help when appropriate
• Competent in all aspects of Radiography
• Competent in management of QA procedures
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate
• Able to demonstrate clinical and professional development
• Strong patient focused approach
• Adaptable and flexible
• Good decision-making skills
• Mentor and supervise students
