Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable qualified Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our caring and progressive Community Rehab (CRT) and Community Neuro Rehab Teams (CNRT).

CRT and CNRT are multi-disciplinary teams consisting of physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, specialist nurses and rehabilitation assistants.

The teams empower patients to be self-managing and retain independence.

We work closely with patients with deteriorating conditions to support them throughout the progression of their condition and provide outpatient clinics and group sessions for patients who are able to attend.

Main duties:

Our therapy teams provide support to people who need extra help to allow them to get home safely following an illness or operation.
Our therapists use their professional expertise and clinical judgement to provide a safe environment to support patients to reach their goals.
As an OT you will work as part of a team to keep patients safe and well in. You will use your clinical judgment to effectively complete functional assessments that support evidence-based care planning and the implementation, evaluation and reassessment of those plans. Above all you will make sure that people who use our services have a good experience.
