Job Summary
 
  • To coordinate and manage a team of staff at the home and to ensure the provision of care and support services for people with mental illness, learning disabilities, autism and/or behaviours that may challenge; to maximise the recovery and skills potential of individuals living at the home; to achieve the highest possible standards of care and support in a professional manner through competent management and administration of the home ·
  • To contribute to the overall growth and development of the home in line with the Company’s vision. · 
  • To ensure compliance with the aims and objectives of Focus Care Agency Ltd · 
  • To ensure that care and support are provided in a person centred way, using person centred approaches in accordance with policies and procedures. · 
  • Responsible for the care and safety of staff and service users receiving care within the home. · 
  • Accountable for the operational management, monitoring, coordinating, control and administration of the home in accordance with statutory requirements as set out in the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety March 2010. · 
  • To promote a company culture and climate which is conducive to a high standard of care and support delivery in which, service users can participate according to their capacity and wishes. · 
  • To cooperate and support the Human Resources Team in the recruitment of staff within the various facilities nationally in conjunction with other members of the management team as appropriate. · 
  • To ensure that all recruitment is robust and is in line with the Company Human Resources Policy and Procedures. · 
  • To ensure that the administration of the home and processes are compliant with Care Quality Commission Requirements. All employees’ personnel file are compliant and regulatory checks are done, such DBS, UKBA. References etc. · 
  • The incumbent is responsible and accountable for Inspections of the Home.
