Description

We are currently looking for a Complex Care Manager to join our team at Team Brain Injury Support.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have a genuine passion for delivering high standards of care and be committed to really making a difference to your client’s lives. You will also need to be able to demonstrate tenacity, drive and self-motivation. Excellent communication skills are key to this role and ideally you will have some previous experience of managing a team (e.g. as a Team Leader) As this role requires travel, there is also a £3000 car allowance per annum, on top of the annual salary.

Key Responsibilities:

As Complex Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing the package of care for a range of clients with varying requirements, in and around the region, but you may also be required to support in other regions from time to time. This is a field-based role involving regular travel across your region as well as working from home. You will also be required to travel to the office in Southampton for regular team meetings (usually monthly).

Key responsibilities include:

Recruiting and inducting Support Workers / Carers
Supervising and supporting your teams
Attending regular meetings with your clients and CCG contacts
Spot checks & supervisions
Incident management and investigating
Providing regular reports and updates

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Excellent communication skills
Previous experience of managing clients within the community
A passion for delivering excellent client service
The ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise effectively
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in MS Office and be comfortable picking up systems quickly (experience of using Share Point and People Planner would be advantageous)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Candidates will also ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or a related topic or be willing to study towards this.
