Description

Our client is seeking a General Radiographer to join our dynamic imaging department on a fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

Perform general Radiographic duties and generate high-quality diagnostic images using our digital x-ray room, image intensifiers, and mobile unit.
Participate in the on-call system.
Support the Lead Radiographer in upholding the highest standards of governance.
Ensure compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and health and safety regulations within the department.
Assist in managing IT/PACS systems for the department.
Foster effective communication and harmonious working relationships among healthcare professionals, promoting safe working practices.
Take all necessary measures to ensure patient safety.
Adhere to local rules, standard operating procedures, and company-wide policies.
Contribute to departmental and hospital audits.
Uphold your professional code of conduct.
Promptly report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to the Team Lead and the Hospital governance system.
Familiarize yourself with all departmental and emergency equipment, conducting regular checks in accordance with policy and promptly reporting any issues.
Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with current registration requirements.
Stay updated on research and technological advancements in the field, ensuring your practice remains current.
Keep all mandatory/statutory training up to date.
