Main duties of the job 1. To produce medical imaging. 2. To organise facilities in an effort to provide the best possible patient care. 3. Evaluating new techniques and new ways of working as service improvements or developments. 4. To participate in and contribute to clinical audit. 5. To report problems promptly and appropriately. 6. To participate in the in-service training of radiographic staff and students. 7. To participate in CPD, and take responsibility for own development. 8. To undertake an annual appraisal and appraise others as indicated. 9. To assist with the Quality Assurance programme. 10. To maintain professional standards in accordance with the College of Radiographers, HPC and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust policies. 11. To appear on duty promptly and smartly dressed. 12. To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act. 13. To communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and others.
