Person specification QUALIFICATIONS Essential criteria Graduate Radiographer or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound State registered with the HCPC Post graduate qualification/ experience in obstetric ultrasound. Desirable criteria Nuchal translucency accredited (foetal medicine foundation and DQUASS accreditation MSc in Medical Ultrasound or additional modules or training for these. EXPERIENCE Essential criteria Experience of general abdominal, gynaecological and obstetric scanning including transvaginal techniques Evidence of participating in clinical audit, participating in QA and experience of clinical supervision. Desirable criteria Additional modular qualification i.e. MSK Experience in other fields. SKILLS Essential criteria Ability to communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues and other health professionals at all levels. Excellent written communication skills. Computer literate Maintain high levels of mental effort over a period of time. Counselling skills Desirable criteria Evidence of participation in service development.
