Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse (Endoscopy) to join our team at our Hospital. Duties & Responsibilities
- To ensure the provision of a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit working within agreed policies and procedures and provide assistance pre/during/post diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while ensuring safe working practices by following agreed guidelines.
Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of care. - May be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff.
- Be fully compliant with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other relevant guidance documents, which support and maintain standards of professional practice.
- Responsible for maintaining patient records within agreed standards.
- Develop and maintain good working knowledge of the relevant equipment utilised in patient care
- Will direct, coordinate and supervise, where appropriate, the work of other staff within the ward or department to promote best practice in relation to patient care
- Ensure efficient service delivery by collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team and across departments
Work within, and adhere to, defined National policies, procedures, standards and protocols, and in line with TAC Healthcare Group and other official bodies policies and regulation to deliver the service delivery to the highest standard - Support the senior clinical team with stock management, escalating any issues to the seniors promptly, and utilising the resources efficiently

- Undertake any research/educational activities when requested.
