We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist for a locum position within a leading NHS Trust. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your clinical expertise will directly impact patient care.

🔍 Role Overview:

As a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across various clinical specialities. You will provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medicines, support junior pharmacy staff, and liaise closely with multidisciplinary teams.

🏥 Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical pharmacy services to designated wards or departments
Conduct medicines reconciliation and clinical review
Ensure safe, legal, and effective use of medications
Participate in audits, risk assessments, and service development
Support and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

🎓 Requirements:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
Significant post-registration clinical pharmacy experience
Experience in an NHS hospital setting
Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration
