Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Locum Band 7 Employee Relations (ER) Manager to join a dynamic team in the healthcare sector. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, policy implementation, and workplace conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide expert employee relations advice and support to managers and staff
✔ Manage complex HR casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
✔ Support workforce planning, change management, and restructuring processes
✔ Ensure HR policies and procedures are aligned with employment law and best practices
✔ Deliver training and coaching sessions on employee relations and HR policies
✔ Act as a key liaison for trade unions and employee representatives
✔ Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives within the HR function
Requirements:
🔹 CIPD Level 7 Qualification (or equivalent experience)
🔹 Previous experience as an Employee Relations Manager or Senior HR Professional
🔹 Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and workforce management
🔹 Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
🔹 Ability to work effectively in NHS, healthcare, or public sector environments (preferred)
🔹 Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
