Description

We are looking for Head of Care Operations.

Locum Long tem contract: Minimum 3 months (Full Time)

Responsibilities:

To work in partnership with registered care managers to ensure efficiency of all care services and ensuring a strategic overview of quality assurance in compliance with our Policies and procedures
To carry out provider monitoring, auditing and spot checks to ensure that the care homes are operating in compliance with the CQC fundamental standards
Liaising and establish links with key people and building relationships with Regulators and Commissioners.
Recruitment, induction, training and development of Registered Managers, leading on matters concerning disciplinary and capability where appropriate.
Responsibility for ensuring managers assess, plan, action and evaluate their own training and development needs,and ensure Registered Managers lead and manage their own staff learning and development needs
To ensure that all Registered Managers take charge of absenteeism effectively so as to reduce and ultimately prevent occasions of unnecessary staff absence.
To ensure that registered managers effectively lead and manage staffing in accordance with operational strategy.
Comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
To carry out company policy and ensure that Registered Managers are aware of the policies that are required to be implemented.
To act as the nominated individual for CQC, and to ensure that the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, and other relevant legislation are implemented in full.
To participate in the Out of Hours team
To support the housing team (in conjunction with the Area Domiciliary Care Manager) with tenants/leaseholders who may require assessment of their care
To support the registered managers in achieving the personalisation agenda
