Description

As a Locum Podiatrist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Your role will be pivotal in preventing complications, particularly for high-risk patients, including those with diabetes and vascular conditions.

🏥 Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive foot health assessments
Manage and treat common foot conditions (e.g., infections, nail surgery, biomechanics)
Provide wound care and offloading techniques for high-risk patients
Deliver patient education and preventative care plans
Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

🎓 Requirements:

HCPC registration as a Podiatrist
Previous NHS or community-based podiatry experience preferred
Confident in managing high-risk caseloads
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
